The LRH Legacy: 1986 - Now

L. Ron Hubbard’s research and work provides solutions to many different social and human problems. These include procedures for drug rehabilitation that are currently used in over 30 nations and prove five times more effective than any similar program; L. Ron Hubbard’s program for criminal reform is currently being run in more than 2,000 prisons and penal institutions internationally and known to produce an over 80 percent reduction in returns to prison. There is also the widespread technology for learning and literacy now being delivered in more than 500 centers worldwide and across whole educational systems. In the early 1980’s L. Ron Hubbard wrote the universally acclaimed non-religious moral code called The Way to Happiness. This appeals to common sense and is an easily read booklet, which has seen a reverse to declining moral trends across entire communities. It is presently in the hands of over 70 million people globally, and officially circulated by thousands of city, state and national institutions.

The greater story of L. Ron Hubbard can only conclude with the completion of his mainline research. Before his passing in January 1986, he had fully set out all Dianetics and Scientology materials for application for every level of society. Those materials consist of published words recorded in volumes of books, articles and many thousands of recorded lectures. With over 200 million copies of his works in circulation, and more than 42 international bestsellers, L. Ron Hubbard has inspired a movement that millions follow across all continents. Which continues to grow in each day. L. Ron Hubbard said in his own, My Philosophy:

“I like to help others and count it as my greatest pleasure in life to see a person free himself of the shadows which darken his days.

“These shadows look so thick to him and weigh him down so that when he finds they are shadows and that he can see through them, walk through them and be again in the sun, he is enormously delighted. And I am afraid I am just as delighted as he is.”
